MY FIRST POST GUUUYYYYSSS! This one is for you Ms. I
Well on Friday we were told that we`re taking a walk into the magical land known as Fleetwood Park. We had a quest that we must fulfill, find lichen and fungi. As we found some interesting lichen and fungi we had to take pictures of it. There were fungi that I didn`t even know about! There are these fungi that are shaped as half a dome on top of a little stick. They call it mushrooms. Some of these mushrooms are pretty crazy I`ve heard. Take the liberty cap for example. The liberty cap has many toxins that make you hallucinate, now who said unicorns didn`t exist? As we did this quest we noticed that they were usually found in places with moisture. We got paired into groups. my partner was Isabella. These are some of the fungi/ lichen that we saw.

"Who said unicorns don't exist?" LOL! You are a very funny writer Darshan! I'd like to see your next blog entry having more discussion about how the activities purpose helped us to understand biology (or what we learned in class) better. You didn't incorporate many facts from class, next time try to go through your notes (or memory) and pick out pieces of information from the lessons that you can apply to the situations we saw in real life. Things like lichen types, how they obtain nutrition, what the parts are and what they're used for. I'd also like to see more of a personal response to the activity (did you learn anything? did it change your views about the setting or how you saw mushrooms?) See your blog rubric (or the one I posted online) to frame your next post. Thanks for getting this in for me Darshan. I'm looking forward to reading your next blog, you are very witty.
